The traveling exhibition is at Berry College in the Moon Gallery from March 21st - April 14th, 2022, the latest in an ongoing series of site-specific exhibitions. It has been interesting working with yet another space, whose intimate confines showcase my work in a new light. The paintings, drawings and sculpture complement one another in both color and texture, even though they were done in different periods of time.
The Airplayer installation fills its allotted space, with the lower ceiling giving the sound a physicality not previously experienced. Individual forms have been given interior lighting with projection adding yet another dimension. The paintings are new and while the drawings were done years ago, they have never been exhibited. The paintings employ the use of stain and fiber, while the drawings use charcoal and fiber.
